Nomads are open to change. The tribe's identity is strengthened by the diverse environments in which it evolves. Adaptability to changing situations is the condition of nomadic life.

  less open to changes it is. The sedentary 
  society enforces stability through control mechanisms that free 
  spirits, hackers and nomads perpetually seek to tansverse 
  creatively.
  The panoptical 
  system of surveillance described by Foucault examplifies the internal mechanisms 
  of the sedentary society, aiming at preventing the development 
  of alternatives social structures.
